Three New England airports were named among the 10 best airports in the U.S. in Conde Nast Traveler magazine’s 30th Annual Readers’ Choice Awards, and none of them are named “Logan.”

Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, ranked No. 5, T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island, ranked No. 9, and Portland International Jetport in Portland, Maine ranked No. 10. The No. 1 spot went to Indianapolis International Airport.

Travelers love Bradley International Airport’s on-site parking, restaurant options, free Wi-Fi, many charging stations, and relaxed atmosphere, according to CNT editors.

The airport is “an attractive alternative to flying out of New York’s and Boston’s monster hubs,” the publication wrote.

Plus, Bradley flyers can hop a nonstop flight on Norwegian Air to Edinburgh, Scotland, or on Aer Lingus to Ireland, editors noted.

T.F. Green airport was called “a great little airport” for its accessibility and easy-to-navigate design by the publication.

“Long known for its budget flights—it’s a Southwest Airlines stronghold—last year it saw an exponential increase in international service, with Norwegian Air launching non-stops to six destinations in Ireland, the U.K., and Norway,” editors wrote. “New flights to the French Caribbean begin this fall.”

Portland International Jetport is less than a 10 minutes’ drive from bustling downtown Portland.

“It may be small, but that’s a plus for Portland’s airport, which gets praise for its homey atmosphere and retail outlets that tap into that Down East vibe,” the publication wrote.

Travelers appreciate the airport’s rocking chairs, comfortable sofas, and opportunities to shop and eat at Maine spots such as Stonewall Kitchen and Linda Bean’s Lobster Cafe, editors wrote.

Editors compiled the readers’ choice lists based on the results of an online survey available to CNT readers between April 1 and July 1, 2017. The survey contained more than 30,000 listings of hotels, resorts, islands, airports, cities, and cruise ships. More than 300,000 readers submitted millions of ratings and more than 100,000 comments, according to the publication.
