Do you want to see more of Massachusetts in 2018? As you plan trips across the state in the New Year, a list of USA Today readers’ top 10 Massachusetts attractions in 2017 may help.

Readers named Lenox’s Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, this year’s No. 1 state attraction. The list, part of USA Today‘s 2017 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards, also includes Fenway Park in Boston, which the publication called “one of Major League Baseball’s last remaining cathedrals”; the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, which USA Today wrote is “one of the world’s leading centers for art research and education”; and Salem, lauded for its “rich maritime history, world class museums, art galleries and numerous waterfront shops and restaurants.”

According to USA Today readers, the No. 1 attractions in each of the other New England states in 2017 were Clark’s Trading Post in New Hampshire, Roger Williams Park Zoo in Rhode Island, Maine Windjammers in Maine, Dog Mountain in Vermont, and Lavender Pond Farm in Connecticut.
