Because all good things come to an end, Boston Bachelor contestant Caila Quinn was sent home by Ben Higgins on The Bachelor this week. Bummer!
It wasn’t the worst breakup in The Bachelor history, though the oddest part was that Caila, who is notably the bubbly girl of the bunch, actually smiled while Ben told her he was in love with two other women.
But then the tears came when she jumped into the car to make her exit:
I tried to, like, jump into his arms and he just — I didn’t feel it. I thought I’d be getting engaged in a week and a half. I was ready. I was ready to get married. I was ready to be his wife. I was ready for our future. It’s all I thought about. I didn’t see this coming. I, like, still love him.
Though her time on The Bachelor is over, TV hasn’t seen the last of Caila. Next week is the “Women Tell All’’ reunion episode featuring all the eliminated contestants, followed by the finale the week after that. And maybe Caila could return on Bachelor in Paradise, or even be the next Bachelorette. If all else fails, let’s be real: TRESemmé will come calling—that hair is worthy of a beauty contract.
