Elizabeth Park Conservancy opens its Spring Greenhouse Show on Friday, March 15 featuring a spectacular array of spring bulbs and plants grown by Conservancy Horticulturist Rosemary Aldridge; Head Gardener Peter Winne; Gardeners Wesley Gage and Stephanie Bahramian; Park Gardener Vincent Boyce and many volunteers.
The show is FREE and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 15 through March 22. Included in the floral display are French hyacinths, muscari, tulips, daffodils, amaryllis, begonias, scented geranium, hellebores, pansies, violas, Spanish oregano, as well as a collection of tropical plants.
Coffee and refreshments will be served at the Cottage from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, when Aldridge will offer tours of the Greenhouse Show at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. The reception and tours are free, and reservations, which are required, can be made at firstname.lastname@example.org with the names of all guests and preferred tour time.
