It seems way too early for high school freshmen and their parents to start thinking about college, doesn’t it? Actually, it isn’t! This is precisely the time to begin in order to lay the foundation for a student’s academic and extracurricular credentials and to prepare a family’s finances for those ever-increasing tuition bills. Starting the college planning process in the ninth grade can significantly increase a student’s chances for admission and scholarships while also reducing the anxiety and arguments that often can occur due to the new, earlier application timeline.
The Flint Public Library in Middleton, MA will be sponsoring a free workshop for parents of 8th and 9th graders on Monday, January 14th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm presented by Marie Lucca, President of Crimson College Consulting (CrimsonEd.com).
Come learn how to prepare your family for a successful and low-stress college admissions adventure!
