This hilarious musical is written by Cambridge novelist Stephen McCauley and playwright Sebastian Stuart, directed by Kippy Dewey of Jamaica Plain, and includes a score by Brookline’s Narcissa Campion.
Set in the Catskills in 1948, Come As You Are is about the perils of trying to be something you're not and the ultimate triumph of hard work and love.
Featuring 24 actors, ages 12-16, from 11 Greater Boston communities. The young thespians attend 14 different schools throughout the area.

Founded in 1973, the Freelance Players, Inc. produces original musicals performed by young people for audiences of all ages.
