The children of the First Congregational Church, UCC in Farmington will present the annual Christmas Pageant on Sunday, December 16 during the 10 am worship service. Luke Moody will narrate the story which features shepherds, angels and Mary and Joseph as they travel to the town of Bethlehem where the baby Jesus will be born.
Portraying the infant Jesus will be seven month old Raluca Peiffer of Portsmouth. She is the daughter of Jonny and Sara Peiffer. Jonny is the church’s pianist and organist.
“This is always a joyous event,” says Interim Pastor Kent Schneider, “when the children tell the story of the first Christmas and dress up in Biblical costumes. Each child has a special role to play in the program.”
