CRIMELINE FOR THE HAMPTONS, INC. HOLDS ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
HAMPTON FALLS – Beginning on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, until Monday, February 11, 2019, Crimeline for the Hamptons, Inc., will hold its annual fundraiser at The Poker Room at One Lafayette Road in Hampton Falls. The proceeds of this event will be used for rewards, scholarships, community safety and crime prevention forums and events, and donations that help local police carry out their duties.
“Our organization’s goal is to help our communities,” said John Mounsey. Mounsey was recently elected as Chairman of Crimeline’s Board of Directors.
“We hope this fundraiser provides us with what we need to award scholarships, hold free events for the public, and provide rewards for tips that help police solve crimes.”
Crimeline has been providing reward money for information that helps police since 1994. The group also awards annual scholarships to local students that pursue careers in criminal justice or law enforcement, and to children of police officers.
Throughout the year, Crimeline holds public forums in addition to an annual free shredding event to raise awareness about identity theft that is held on the Saturday after Tax Day. This year, the shredding event will be held the morning of Saturday, April 20, in the parking lot next to Hampton Police Department.
“The Poker Room fundraiser is a great chance for people to come out for a few hours, have some fun and raise money for a good cause that benefits everyone who lives in our area,” Mounsey said.
