"Into the Woods” - Mixed Media
The New England Chapter of the Guild of Natural Science
October 1-30, 2019
Trees and forests have a direct impact on the environment and climate. Into the Woods depicts the ecological importance of woodlands—including trees and other flora, fauna, and fungi—as well as ecosystem processes and conservation.
The works included in the exhibition showcase several different media. And while some may not be scientific in nature, all of these pieces emphasize the ecological significance of the species they depict.
Opening Reception: Wednesday, October 9, 6-8 pm
Free. Celebrate the opening of this new exhibit with artist demonstrations and light refreshments.
