WHO: CHOPPS American Bar & Grill invites guests to keep their summer rocking and rolling with live bar music every Tuesday through Friday evening. Guests can beat their mid-week slump by enjoying acoustic-inspired music Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from local artists including Jay Psaros, Ken Freeman, and Gracie Day. On Friday nights, dance your way into the weekend to the electric beats of Boston’s best DJs.

WHAT: Continuing their successful summer series, CHOPPS American Bar & Grill invites guests to join them for an evening of refreshing cocktails, delicious bites, and soothing tunes as they host local musicians and DJs every Tuesday through Friday evening.

A popular gathering spot for hotel guests and locals alike, CHOPPS’ bustling bar scene is a prime spot to enjoy live entertainment and a carefully-crafted cocktail after a tiring day at the office. So, this August and September, grab a friend and a bar-stool and check out who is playing on the night of your next Burlington outing:

Thursday, August 9th: Carlin Tripp Carlin Tripp started writing original songs while attending college in Santa Fe in 2003. The songwriter traveled the country until he began playing regularly around the greater MA area and eventually recorded his debut record Back to the Soil in 2013. Tripp landed several gigs opening for nationally touring acts and continued performing all over New England. Psaros founded PB & Jay Records, a recording studio focusing on the successes of artists all around the Greater Boston Area. After leaving for college in 09', he took his talents to Florida where he began to cultivate his craft and find his sound. He has traveled up and down the east coast, featuring in Barstool’s Toga Tour, and performing alongside Afroman of Palmdale, CA. Friday, August 24th: DJ Giacomo Mannonne With 20 years of experience, DJ Giacomo Mannonne has been a part of hundreds of weddings. Giacomo started in 1996 (12 years old) with his dad’s wedding band, djing upbeat dance sets while they took a break. As he got older, he started djing in clubs in and around Boston. Wednesday, August 29th: Tim Dillon For over 15 years, Tim Dillon has performed on stages all over the northeast. As a musician, Tim draws on his love of classic rock and guilty pleasures of the 80’s, while incorporating some current music as well. The result is a wide repertoire of musical styles for anyone to enjoy. His extensive stage experience, as a musician and a stand-up comedian, has produced an improvisational approach, enabling him to accommodate all types of audiences. Thursday, September 6th: James Gilmore James Gilmore born in Machias, Maine has been playing guitar since his childhood. In school, he met guitarist-songwriter Jacob Beach, with whom he started the band GreenerSide consisting mostly of acoustic rock music. Gilmore continued his music career and songwriting when he went to the University of Maine. Since then, Gilmore has released several solo albums including Free Questions for Answer and Hurt N’ Wrong.
