Jupiter Hall presents RETROSPECTIVE, a multiple genre show featuring Award winning fashion and beauty photographer Ron Ranere and several of Ron's long term photography projects:
DANCE OF LIGHT, WHISPERING NUDES, FASHION, LIQUID LIGHT
Liquid Light: Models moving draped with light, choreographed to capture the flow of color. The image comes up on the monitor in an otherwise dark studio. It’s an amazing experience, moving photography into a whole new level of art.
What the BOSTON ART REVIEW had to say about Liquid Light:
“Ron’s Liquid Light work represents an amalgamation of different, yet related, ideas. In some, the light as clothing concept is retained. In others, light has become an abstraction and the bodies that created them are no longer visible. One can tell that the experiment has just begun.”
Exhibit runs thru September 15
RON WILL ALSO CONDUCT PHOTO WORKSHOPS AND PHOT) SHOOTS THROUGHOUT THE EXHIBIT
(More info coming soon)
ABOUT RON RANERE
Fast forward to the digital age. The creative process has been part of my life since childhood. At 9 years old I sold Christmas cards to get my first camera, a plastic body with a plastic lens that took 120 film; one step up from a shoe box with a hole in it. From that day, I became totally enamored with making images instead of taking pictures. Ron’s bio continues here: https://www.facebook.com/events/306489380102696/
