MasterChef is holding auditions in Boston

Think you have the cooking chops to cut it on national TV?

Gordon Ramsay

Do you think you’re the king or queen of high-class cuisine? Ever dreamed of being yelled at by Gordon Ramsay on national television? Then you’re in luck. The casting team from MasterChef, the competitive cooking reality show judged by Ramsay, Graham Elliot, and Christina Tosi, is holding an open casting call in for the show’s eighth season in Boston later this month.

The audition is being held on Saturday, April 23 at the Hyatt Regency Boston from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those interested in auditioning are encouraged to pre-register and fill out an application on the show’s website.

Applicants must also bring a prepared dish to serve to the casting crew’s food judges, but be warned: there are no kitchens to cook or warm a dish, and applicants will only have three minutes to plate a dish.

A challenge? Yes. But, a challenge like that pales in comparison to what Gordon Ramsay will likely throw at you.
