Are you a Boston-area amateur chef? Do you dream of being berated by Gordon Ramsay? Fox’s “MasterChef’’ might just give you the chance.

Representatives from the show are coming to Boston for an open casting call for its 10th season, according to the MasterChef casting website. Auditions will be held at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The judges will allow three minutes for chefs to plate their dish of choice, with no kitchen available, so cooking or warming must be done beforehand. Chefs must also bring their own plates, utensils, and other supplies. Per the website, potential contestants are also “strongly encouraged’’ to pre-register, in addition to filling out a mandatory print application.

The website says that in-person auditions are preferred, but “MasterChef’’ hopefuls unable to make it can enter with a video and send it, along with an application form, to the show’s offices in Van Nuys, Calif.

“MasterChef’’ previously held a Boston casting call in 2016 for the show’s eighth season. Jason Wang, a Newton music teacher, made it to the finale, but ultimately lost to Dino Angelo Luciano. Somerville’s Danny Pontes-Macedo also made it to that season’s top eight.
