You can run and eat your way through B. Good’s Boston 5K

Lace up your sneakers and grab some extra napkins: B. Good is hosting a combination 5K and eating challenge.

The Burger Brigade Dine and Dash race, which will be held on Saturday, March 19, at the chain’s restaurant on Summer Street in Downtown Crossing, combines running three miles with four eating challenges —meaning participants will likely consume more calories than they burn.

First, runners will tackle about a half mile before eating a side of fries. Then, they’ll run almost a mile and a half before fueling up with a side of kale and quinoa. After another half mile, they’ll consume a vegetable or beef burger and then continue running just under a mile before reaching the finish line—and a Ben & Jerry’s milkshake.

All participants will receive a coupon for a free meal at B.Good.

Don’t worry, your stomach ache will be for a good cause: All proceeds from the race will benefit the b.good Family Foundation, which gives micro-grants to local community leaders.

You can sign up for the race here. Registration is $30.
