Coffee and cereal? Sounds like a solid breakfast.
Coffee in your cereal? Sounds about right for 2020.
Canton-based Dunkin’ has joined forces with Post Consumer Brands to create two new cereals: Post Dunkin’ Caramel Macchiato and Post Dunkin’ Mocha Latte. The cereals are Post and Dunkin’s first collaboration, and they’re scheduled to roll out nationwide in August.
Both cereals use Dunkin’ coffee concentrate and contain small amounts of caffeine — roughly one-tenth of a cup, according to a Dunkin’ press release. The Post Dunkin’ Caramel Macchiato incorporates caramel-swirled marshmallows, while the Post Dunkin’ Mocha Latte uses chocolate and latte-swirled marshmallows. According to the nutrition information, both the Caramel Macchiato and the Mocha Latte are 150 calories per serving.
“For our fans who already start their days with Dunkin’, this gives them another way to experience their favorite flavors,” Brian Gilbert, vice president of retail business development at Dunkin’, said in the press release. “The Post Cereals team has done an excellent job of paying homage to the Caramel Macchiato and Mocha Latte with these new cereals. We can’t wait to see how customers enjoy them.”
Once the cereals launch, Dunkin’ fans can use a store locator to find out where they can purchase a box.
