If you live in Roxbury and love burgers, you’re in luck: Tasty Burger has opened its fifth Boston location in Dudley Square.
The new spot, located at 2200 Washington St., has been in the works for three and a half years, according to a press release.
“We feel a connection to neighborhoods that have a strong community, yet are underserviced,’’ Tasty Burger CEO Dave DuBois said in the release. “Dudley Square is a neighborhood on its way back to being one of the hearts of the community in Roxbury, and we are excited to be able to be a part of it.’’
In addition to burgers, shakes, beer, and wine, the new location also offers a feast for the eyes: Local artists Scott Chasse and Kenji Nakayama created a mural of an MBTA bus in honor of Dudley Square being home to the largest bus terminal in New England. Local photographer Wayne Chinook’s pictures adorn the walls, as well.
Starting Monday, Tasty Burger will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week and, according to the release, will be serving breakfast “shortly after opening.’’
