The Downeast Back Porch on the Greenway will offer five ciders on tap, including a flavor exclusive to the Greenway: Mint Lemonade. It will also host a rotating selection of New England craft brewers, and serve wine from Half Bottle Cans, according to a press release.
In addition to beverages, visitors can expect food from a mix of food trucks, lawn games, live music, and events.
While no official opening date has been announced yet, the Rose Fitgerald Kennedy Conservancy and Downeast officials estimate that the pop-up will run from late May through October, operating Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, and Saturdays and Sundays.
Last year, Trillium Brewing Co. operated a beer garden on the Greenway. According to the Globe, Greenway Conservancy officials and Trillium are in talks about bringing it back this summer, as well.
