In a battle against the upcoming winter, every Bostonian needs a coat, scarf, gloves — and maybe a hot chocolate.

On Friday, the MET Restaurant Group will once again introduce the Boston Hot Chocolate Experience — and an experience, it is. Just like a beer flight, it will consist of four distinct flavors: classic featuring vanilla chocolate, whipped cream, and mini marshmallows; espresso topped with an almond biscotti garnish; caramel sea salt with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle; and white chocolate peppermint with white chocolate, crushed peppermint stick, vanilla cream, and a candy cane.

Each flavor can also be tailored to the the 21-plus crowd with Bailey’s, Galliano Ristretto, caramel vodka, or peppermint liqueur, respectively.

If one flavor sounds especially enticing, guests can also swap out the flight for “One Big One.”

The Hot Chocolate Experience will be available at the MET Back Bay, as well as the MET Bar and Grill locations in Dedham and Natick through February 14, 2018.
