If your New Year’s resolution is to branch out with your culinary experiences, you’re in luck: The Boston Globe Magazine just published a list of the 46 best new restaurants in the Boston area.

Most of the list is uncategorized and includes restaurants recognized in year-end roundups by other local publications, including French-Canadian destination Cafe du Pays and seafood “fine-casual” spot Eventide Fenway.

However, a small portion of the list is sectioned off, providing guidance if you’re seeking a specific dining experience. For new lunch spots, the magazine recommends quick-bite restaurants such as fast-casual Greek shop Gre.Co in the Back Bay and grain bowl/salad/stir-fry chain Honeygrow, which has locations in both the Fenway and Seaport neighborhoods. Curious about the new poke trend? The list highlights three of the area’s restaurants, including Manoa Poke Shop in Somerville. Finally, the list has a subsection specifically for the Seaport and Fort Point, which has seen new restaurants pop up at a blistering pace amid booming redevelopment.
