Yelp revealed its “Top 100 Places to Eat for 2018” on Tuesday, and the list features places to chow down in all corners of the U.S., from Hawaii to South Carolina. This year, three New England spots made the cut.

Bite into Maine, which dishes lobster rolls out of a food truck in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, came in at No. 55, topped by Brockton brunch spot JJ’s Caffe at No. 27. Meanwhile, wood-fired oven pizzeria Ciao!, of Chelsea, slipped into the top 10 at No. 9. Both JJ’s Caffe and Ciao! also made the 2017 edition of the list.

Yelp compiled its fifth annual “Top 100 Places to Eat” list based on a ranking system that considered both ratings and volume of reviews in order to “not only reveal what’s top rated but what’s most popular,” according to the company’s announcementIn order to qualify, businesses had to be primarily a restaurant or place to eat a meal. If a business with multiple locations appeared more than once, Yelp kept the highest ranking.
