It’s safe to say that with temps now plunging into the teens at night, it’s getting harder and harder to venture out once the sun sets.
Unless there’s beer. And maybe sausages. At Watertown’s Branch Line, a new beer hall is hoping to lure you in with both.
Starting Wednesday, and running every Wednesday until Feb. 27, the neighborhood restaurant will transform its heated patio into a lively beer hall, complete with an eclectic beer and cider list, pitcher specials, and an array of Bavarian-inspired menu items. Pitchers of Rothaus Pilsner and Jack’s Abby House Lager will be available for bigger groups, while individual cans and bottles will include Thistle Hill from East Hollow Cider, Weisse from Aldersbacher, Fromlostiano from Artifact Cider Project, and Keller Kazbek from Fair State Brewing Cooperative. German sausage, country pâté, and soft pretzels all will be on hand, along with other beer hall-centric food.
The beer hall will run from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Wednesday, and there are no tickets necessary.
Branch Line has a few activities planned for the launch on Wednesday, Jan. 16, including Stump Trivia from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by live music from Roxxi Jaxx at 7 p.m.
