The Barneys New York in Copley Place will soon be able to serve more than your sartorial needs. The luxury retailer announced on Wednesday that it would bring its restaurant, Freds at Barneys New York, to the location this fall.

The menu will feature both Italian-inspired and contemporary American fare, offering new dishes incorporating local vendors right along with the restaurant’s classic items. Additionally, Boston guests will get to try out exclusive limited-time collaboration such as the Designer Burger Series, which has featured Alexander Wang, Martha Stewart, Thom Browne, and Rick Owens. In addition to sit-down lunch and dinner service, Freds at Barneys New York will offer lunch takeout for the first time. Over at a custom grey marble bar, guests can order seasonally hand-crafted and exclusive cocktails.

Situated on the department store’s second floor, this Freds location will showcase mixed metals, wood accents, blue and green hues, and large windows providing views of Back Bay. The restaurant can accommodate more than 120 people, and will begin taking reservations before it opens in the fall.

Copley Place will mark the sixth Freds at Barneys New York restaurant, joining flagship stores in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and two in New York City. The company also recently announced that another location will open at the New Jersey flagship in late 2019.
