Dunkin’ will launch Free Donut Fridays throughout March
Plus: Here's how you can win free doughnuts for a year.
Pink velvet lattes. Matcha lattes. Snackin’ Bacon.
Dunkin’ has been on an innovative spree lately, experimenting with new products that, yes, even include a bag of sugar- and pepper-dusted bacon strips.
Its latest offering: Free Donut Fridays, which launch March 6 and run through March 27. As part of its TGIFDF — Thank God It’s Free Donut Friday — campaign, Dunkin’ will offer members of the DD Perks Rewards Program a free doughnut with the purchase of any beverage. Anyone who isn’t part of the rewards program can sign up online or on the Dunkin’ app.
One free doughnut on a Friday might not be enough of a perk for some, so Dunkin’ is going a step further and offering a year’s worth of free doughnuts to four lucky winners who come up with a TGIFDF cheer and post it on Instagram.
The chain got some help from national cheerleading phenom Gabi Butler, who stars in the Netflix docuseries “Cheer.” On Wednesday, Butler kicked off Dunkin’s challenge with an Instagram video of her own.
Cheer videos or stories must use the hashtag #FDFSweepstakes and tag @Dunkin. The contest is currently running and will remain open until March 26, with one winner chosen each week; check out the complete list of rules here.
