In the first few weeks of the pandemic, many of us hunkered down in our homes, ordering more takeout than usual to avoid frequent trips to the grocery store.
“This won’t last too long,” we thought, taking another plastic container of pad Thai out of the fridge, our microwaves firing up for the umpteenth time that week.
But, of course, the pandemic is still a significant part of our lives, and takeout is still going strong. In a recent survey, 37 percent of Boston.com readers shared that they order takeout at least once per week, while 19 percent said they order multiple times per week. We’re cooking at home more than ever before, sure, but we’re also ordering in more — and will likely continue to do so throughout the winter.
So we want to know: Since the pandemic started, which restaurants in Greater Boston have been a reliable source of takeout for you? What are the dishes you recommend at your favorite spots? Why should we orders from these restaurants? After we hear from you, we’ll compile a list of your favorite takeout spots, updating it each week to help keep your ordering options fresh throughout the winter.
