The body of a 78-year-old man was found on a bus at South Station this morning, officials said.
His death was not considered suspicious, said MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo. The man’s body was discovered at 10 a.m. on a private carrier bus arriving from Lebanon, N.H.
No further information on the incident was immediately available.
A similar incident happened in November 2011, when the body of a 29-year-old Arizona man was discovered in the lavatory of a Boston Express Bus from Londonderry, N.H., at South Station. No foul play was suspected in that incident.
