A Suffolk County judge has ruled that a Toyota 4Runner involved in Aaron Hernandez’s upcoming double murder trial will be available for jurors to see, according to The Boston Globe.

Hernandez, who is already serving a life sentence for the June 2013 shooting death of Odin L. Lloyd, allegedly rode in the vehicle as he shot and killed two men in June 2012. The former NFL star pleaded not guilty to killing Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado, according to the Globe.

A car dealership in East, Providence, R.I. filed a motion to get the vehicle back from Massachusetts authorities, according to the Globe. Judge Jeffrey Locke denied the dealership’s motion and agreed with Hernandez’s lawyers, who argued the vehicle should not be returned.

“A viewing of the vehicle to fully understand its size, shape, interior, and seating mechanisms, may be helpful to jurors,’’ the judge said.
