Jordan’s Furniture, which gave away $30 million worth of furniture in 2007, is launching its latest Red Sox promotion, the “Monster Repeat’’ — if the Sox win the World Championship this baseball season, customers will get a refund for any furniture they buy at one of Jordan’s five stores, starting April 2.

“We love the Sox and the great partnership we have with them,’’ Eliot Tatelman, president and chief executive of Jordan’s Furniture, said in a statement. “This is the 8th year that we have been able to offer our customers an unbelievable opportunity, tying in with the Red Sox. In 2007, we gave away over $30 million dollars of free furniture when they won the World Series. We bought insurance so we are rooting for the Red Sox to do a repeat performance of 2013 and hope that we can give away $50 million dollars’ worth of furniture this year!’’

There is no limit on the amount of furniture or the selection of furniture, the company said.

The plan is for the chain to talk up its Red Sox promotion in TV, radio, and online ads.

Past Jordan’s-Sox promotions included a Sox player hitting the Jordan’s sign in the outfield and a World Series sweep. Presumably to his chagrin, Tatelman didn’t have to give away any free furniture in those years.

Jordan’s Furniture has its corporate headquarters in Taunton.
