Dev Hospitality LLC has purchased the Best Western Plus Roundhouse Suites in Boston from WNW Hospitality Group, a hotel owner and operator based in Great Neck, N.Y., said a broker involved in the transaction.

The broker is Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, or NGKF, which represented WNW in the transaction. The purchase price of the Boston transaction is not being disclosed, NGKF said.

Located at 891 Massachusetts Ave., the 92-suite Boston hotel is a six-story brick building distinctive for its round shape. The building was built in 1875 to store coal gas for the city’s street lights and residences. It was converted to a warehouse early in the 20th century after the streetlight system was electrified.

The hotel is located about two blocks from the Boston Medical Center.

In a statement, Bhavesh “B.J.’’ Patel of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank said that the hotel’s new owner plans to continue the hotel’s affiliation with Best Western and make upgrades to the property.
