It’s getting sweeter to be Necco.

Three new bidders have come forward to try to purchase the troubled candy maker at a bankruptcy auction Wednesday.

The new offers bring the number of bids for Revere-based New England Confectionery Co. to four. Boston-based liquidator Gordon Brothers, which was in private negotiations to purchase the company for $13.3 million before Necco filed for bankruptcy protection in April, is designated as the initial bidder.
