These Blue Line passengers were forced to take an unexpected stroll through an MBTA tunnel

Roughly 350 commuters had to walk the tracks near Maverick Station on Thursday morning after a power outage.

Blue Line riders faced another disrupted commute Thursday morning after the second power outage of the week occurred on the line, The Boston Globe reports.

As a result of the outage, about 350 passengers had to disembark from a stalled train near Maverick Station and walk the tracks—alongside emergency personnel—to an emergency exit, the MBTA told the Globe. Shuttle buses replaced trains for about two hours after the 8:46 a.m. disruption.
