A college student told police she was sexually assaulted while walking to her Brookline home early Wednesday morning.
Police said the student was walking on St. Paul Street around 1:45 a.m. when she was approached by a man at the front door of her residence.
The man initiated a conversation, and the victim told him to leave her alone. Police said he grabbed and sexually assaulted her as she tried to enter the building.
She was able to get away to her apartment, suffering minor injuries, according to police.
The victim told police she didn’t see where the man came from or notice him following her.
The suspect is described as being in his mid-20s to 30s, with dark colored hair and facial hair.
