An Everett man was arrested Friday in connection to a deadly December shooting in Revere that killed two people and seriously injured another.
Vicheth So, 36, was taken into custody at an East Lyme, Connecticut hotel on a warrant charging him with two counts of murder and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, the Suffolk District Attorney’s office said in a statement. He waived extradition in New London Superior Court and will be returned to Massachusetts.
The D.A.’s office said So’s co-defendant in the shooting, Michael DeLeon of Lynn, was also arraigned Friday in Suffolk Superior Court on two counts of murder and single counts of armed assault with intent to murder. DeLeon has been held since his December arrest, and on Friday he was ordered held without bail.
The evening of December 10, Revere police responded to a Waite Street home and found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Christy Johnson, 35, and Peter Pitari, 66, both of Revere, later died of their injuries.
No attorney information for So was immediately available. DeLeon’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
