One person injured in Roxbury shooting

A gunman on a bicycle shot a man standing at the corner of Melnea Cass Boulevard and Massachusetts Avenue on Monday. The victim was shot in the face but is expected to survive.

The shooting happened at about 1:40 p.m., as the bicyclist rode toward the intersection on Melnea Cass, then took off down Massachusetts Ave., Boston Police Superintendent Bernard O’Rourke said. Police were looking for the suspect.
