Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate four suspects allegedly involved in a Methuen burglary on Monday.
Around noon Monday, officers responded to a Chelmsford Street home after a panic alarm was triggered, Methuen police said in a statement Tuesday.
Officers spoke with an 18-year-old woman who was home alone during the incident, according to the statement. She told officers three men wearing ski masks and hooded sweatshirts broke in through the front door.
Police said the woman fled to the kitchen, where the suspects told her to lie on the floor while they searched the residence, allegedly taking items from the home. The suspects then fled the home in a gold or tan SUV, potentially a Jeep Cherokee, driven by a fourth suspect, according to police.
The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call police at 978-983-8698.
