Two men were shot in Dorchester Wednesday night, with one of the victims being pronounced dead on scene as a result of his injuries, police said.
Officers responded to the call around 10:47 p.m. in the area of 138 Norfolk St., where they located the two victims: a man in his mid-20s and another believed to be in his late teens, according to police.
The older victim succumbed to his injuries at the site, police said. The male in his late teens was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries, which were considered nonlife-threatening.
Authorities have not released the identity of either victim.
Police are investigating the incident.
