Marlborough police are looking for ‘three masked men’ in home invasion

“One victim was ‘pistol whipped’ with the firearm and was later transported to the hospital for a laceration.”

Marlborough police are searching for three men who wore masks and allegedly invaded an Arnold Street home early Friday morning.

Police said in a Facebook post that officers went to the scene following a call at 6:20 a.m. They were told that one of the men pulled a handgun and the three “began demanding property from the occupants.”

“One victim was ‘pistol whipped’ with the firearm and was later transported to the hospital for a laceration,” police wrote.

The suspects took some items from the home as well as a victim’s car, police said. The vehicle was found on Frye Street not long afterward.

Police are investigating what happened, but don’t believe the incident was a random act. They also don’t think nearby residents are in danger.

The department is asking for the public’s help in finding the suspects and identifying them.
