Police: Man stabbed after walking in on armed robbery at Hyde Park convenience store

The victim's injuries weren't life threatening, police said.

Boston police are attempting to identify suspects in a reported armed robbery Sunday night in Hyde Park.

During the robbery, a man walked into the convenience store within the 900 block of River Street to buy cigarettes around 9:40 p.m. and was stabbed, city police told The Boston Globe. His injuries weren’t considered life threatening.

The assailants were said to have held the clerk at knifepoint and made off with “an undisclosed amount” of money, according to the Globe. The clerk wasn’t injured.
