Cambridge police are looking for a man after they say he allegedly yelled at and hit a woman with a phone, and then pulled on the stroller the woman was pushing, which was carrying her 1-year-old child.

Authorities were called to Harvard Street near Prospect Street around 9:40 a.m. Tuesday. The suspect had fled toward Inman Street and Central Square before witnesses lost sight of him.

The man is described as white and in his late 20s. At the time, he was wearing a green shirt, khaki shorts, and a multi-colored hat, according to police. He was also barefoot and had a brown backpack.

The woman and child didn’t seek medical attention, authorities said.
