Weymouth man arrested after Boston traffic stop leads to drug bust
Police said they pulled him over near 85 Bedford St. in downtown Boston.

After stopping a vehicle in downtown Boston for an equipment violation, police reportedly found several large bags of marijuana and multiple banded rolls of cash in plain sight.
Around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a Boston police news release, officers arrested Weymouth man Daniel Keegan, 20, on multiple drug-related charges.

Police said they stopped him near 85 Bedford St. for an equipment violation, but then saw several large plastic bags stuffed with marijuana and rolls of cash clearly visible inside the vehicle.
As officers searched the car, they reportedly found 59 packages of edible marijuana branded with the Cookie Crisp wolf mascot, several boxes of THC vape oil, one bag of dried mushrooms, a small bag of cocaine and $6,815.
Keegan was placed in custody on charges of possession with intent to distribute Class B drugs, three counts of possession with intent to distribute Class C drugs, and possession with intent to distribute Class D drugs.
Police said he is expected to appear in Boston Municipal Court for arraignment.
