One dead, three injured after Roxbury shooting, police say

The incident happened on Circuit Street Tuesday night, according to officials.

A man was killed and three others were injured in a shooting on Circuit Street in Roxbury Tuesday night, authorities said.

Police responded to a radio call around 7:29 p.m. for several people shot near 14 Circuit St., according to a statement from Boston police.

“On arrival, officers observed four adult male victims suffering from an apparent gunshot wounds,” officials said. “Victim #1, suffering life threatening injuries, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Victims #2, #3 and #4 were transported to local area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.”

Police said Wednesday the department is actively investigating the incident and asks anyone with information to contact homicide detectives at 617-343-4470.
