A 30-year-old Natick man is accused of stabbing and injuring another man within the Encore Boston Harbor casino early Thursday morning.

David E. Guante was arrested by state troopers and Everett police in a parking lot across the street from the casino, state police said in a press release. He’s being charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and his arraignment was set for Thursday. Authorities found a small knife while on scene.

The incident happened around 2 a.m., the release said, following an alleged altercation near the main cashier cage area. The victim, who is a 24-year-old man from Lynn, was found in the casino’s lobby by authorities and was able to provide a suspect description.

The victim was brought to Massachusetts General Hospital with what authorities believed to be a minor wound.

This incident comes days after a man was shot and injured after leaving the casino early Sunday.
