Authorities say an argument in the Encore Boston Harbor casino’s lobby led to a Randolph man allegedly waiting for the man he argued with outside early Sunday morning and then shooting into his vehicle.

Daryl Brown, 29, has been arrested and is now facing charges of armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a firearm, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and carrying a firearm related to this incident. He was set to be arraigned at noon in Malden District Court Thursday, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan in a news release.

It was around 3 a.m. that authorities were called to Sweetser Circle in Everett, which is roughly a mile down Broadway from the casino, for a man reportedly suffering from a gunshot wound.

Following the argument, authorities believe Brown waited for the victim outside the casino’s garage and then followed him to the ramp at Sweetser Circle. He then allegedly shot into the victim’s vehicle from his own vehicle. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and has reportedly recovered.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident, the release said.
