Police: Everett man arrested for OUI, stealing 19 Amazon packages
Arlington Police say they found 19 stolen packages in Patrick McLaughlin's car.
Arlington police arrested an Everett man this weekend for allegedly stealing Amazon packages from homes and operating a vehicle on drugs.
Officers investigated Patrick McLaughlin, 37, Saturday afternoon, the Arlington Police Department said in a release Monday. They found 19 Amazon packages from several addresses in Woburn and Revere in his vehicle, along with a black BB gun and bags of clothing in his trunk.
The packages were mostly sealed and had different names on the labels, police said.
McLaughlin is charged with operating under the influence of drugs along with two counts of receiving stolen property over $1,200 and 32 counts of receiving stolen property under $1,200. Both of the stolen property charges were subsequent offenses, which means McLaughlin has previously been convicted of similar charges.
McLaughlin was expected to be arranged in Cambridge District Court Monday.
