Everett man charged with murder of Malden 18-year-old in December shooting

An Everett man was arrested on charges of fatally shooting an 18-year-old in Malden last month, the Middlesex District Attorney’s office said Tuesday.

Sifeddine Rogardi, 20, faces several charges including murder and will be arraigned in Malden District Court Wednesday. The victim, Jaden Brito-White of Malden, was killed on Dec. 29 on Bowdoin Street.

Authorities allege that Brito-White was standing outside his apartment building when two men approached and shot him. Police say they used surveillance video to spot a distinctively-painted car in the area, which belonged to Rogardi.

Police found an unmarked pistol while searching the suspect’s car in Cambridge on a warrant, and it was consistent with the gun used in the shooting, they say.
