Boston police say a man robbed the TD Bank by Faneuil Hall Monday.
Coleman Nee, 40, of South Boston, was arrested on charges of armed robbery.
Officers downtown responded to a call for a bank robbery at 1 Union Street — the address of the bank — at around 4:19 p.m. They were allegedly told that the suspect threatened to shoot a teller before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Officers canvassed the area looking for the suspect, and MBTA transit police found Nee around the Downtown Crossing station shortly after. They say he had no weapon and that officers were able to take back the money.
Nee was placed into custody and will appear in Boston Municipal Court.
