Man in his 30s stabbed multiple times in Manchester-by-the-Sea, police say

Officers were called to the scene around 7:50 p.m. Sunday.

A man in his mid-30s was stabbed in Manchester-by-the-Sea on Sunday evening, and a suspect was then arrested by Revere police.

Officers were called to the area near School and North streets around 7:50 p.m. for a reported stabbing, according to a police press release.

On scene, they found a man with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Beverly Hospital, and his injuries were thought to be nonlife-threatening, the release said.

The suspect was arrested later that night, according to the release. Police believe the stabbing happened inside a vehicle as it was leaving Masconomo Park, which is near where the victim was found.

Police don’t believe the public is in danger, the release said.
