Thin Mint enthusiasts soon will have another way to satisfy cravings for the iconic Girl Scout Cookie.
Dunkin’ Donuts announced Friday that it is releasing new coffee flavors on Monday that are inspired by three popular Girl Scout Cookies: Thin Mints, Coconut Caramel, and Peanut Butter Cookies.
“New Thin Mints flavored coffee features the classic cookie’s combination of cool mint and decadent chocolate, while new Coconut Caramel flavored coffee treats guests to the taste of toasted coconut together with creamy caramel,” the Canton-based company said in a release. “With new Peanut Butter Cookie flavored coffee, Dunkin’ Donuts has crafted its first-ever coffee featuring the flavor of mouth-watering peanut butter (without allergens).”
All three flavors will be available as hot and iced coffees, lattes, macchiatos, frozen chocolate, and frozen coffee through May under a license from the Girl Scouts of the USA.
Additionally, Dunkin’s senior director of integrated marketing Patty Healy said in the statement that Dunkin’ franchisees “are committed to fueling the entrepreneurial spirit of the Girl Scouts by welcoming local troops to sell cookies at their restaurants.”
The new flavors were announced during a Facebook Live event from Savannah, Georgia, the birthplace of Girl Scouts of the USA.
