Would you sleep in a tent in the trees?

These “treehouses’’ will make your camping adventures even more extreme.

Treehouses are a classic kid get-away. Now there’s an adult version: Treehouse tents.

Take your camping game up a notch, literally, by suspending your tent high in the air. Tentsile, an outdoors company that combines the “comfort of a hammock’’ with the multi-person occupancy of a tent, recently unveiled new models that allow you to create a treehouse city for your next outdoor excursion.

Their new models include a small hammock that fits three and can be layered into a multi-leveled treehouse, a 2-layer tree tent, and a communal tent system that fits six of your friends—as long as they aren’t afraid of heights.

Tentsile was started by designers Alex Shirley-Smith and Kirk Kirchev in 2012. They’ve skyrocketed in the camping world after opening their own factory and winning an ISPO design award.

These tents don’t just let you camp within the trees; For every Tentsile bought, the company plants three trees through WeForest.
