My friend Jean MacNamara is a nurse at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham. Upon learning of MYB lymphoma diagnosis in November 2012, she reached out to help me. After working many long, 12-hour shifts, Jean unselfishly comes to my house to administer my Neupogen shots, which are necessary after my chemotherapy treatments. Physically and emotionally, my diagnosis has taken a toll on me, and Jean has been there for me every step of through this. She is loving, caring, and selfless.
