Noreen Pasquarello provides gentle and compassionate care for my 97-year-old mother, Louise Sabella. One day when I was visiting my mother, I noticed she couldn’t even hold her cup of coffee. I was concerned and spoke to Noreen. I told her I didn’t think my mother could feed herself at lunch. Noreen immediately took my mother and put her next to the nurses’ station so she could watch her. Noreen told me not to worry; if my mother couldn’t feed herself, she would feed her. After lunch, Noreen texted me and told me my mother had eaten and was taking a nap. Noreen even sent me a video of Mom saying “hi’’ to me after her nap so I could see she was doing better. I am grateful to have a nurse like Noreen to care for my mother.
